Interested in learning OpenGL ES 2 or Warp3D Nova?

I'd like to help people take advantage of the new graphics capabilities that Warp3D Nova provides. So far I've written a few tutorials on using Warp3D Nova directly (link).

Now that the OpenGL ES 2 wrapper has been released, I'm wondering if there's interest in learning how to use that. I've created a short survey to get an idea of what people want.

So, if you're interested in learning shader based graphics on AmigaOS, hop over to the survey and give your opinion: link to survey.

Hi, I found it quite interesting, but my programming skills are quiet low, but I encourage you to keep informing/lerning us how to do/create 3d code.

Very interesting!!!

@jabirulo
Your curent coding skills aren't that important, so long as you're willing to put the time in to learn.

Thanks to everyone who has responded so far. I'd like to get as many responses as possible. Could you help me out, and share the link on other places where AmigaOS developers (or aspiring developers) may see it? Thanks.

@Hans

The part about being able to make algorithmic textures using shaders was really interesting for me. I can see now how shaders can be really useful for a lot of things other than just "shading".

Good to hear you found that one interesting. Shaders definitely give you a huge amount of freedom in what you get the GPU to do.

For the curious, here's a summary of the survey responses.

Re: Interested in learning OpenGL ES 2 or Warp3D Nova?

Hi

I used to have amiga 1200 back in 90's, now I'm trying to get back to amiga platform with next gen hardware I bought few days ago...
I wanted to ask if there is any documentation or tutorials available already? I want to work with some 3D stuff so where should I start?

Thanks

Still Boing On....

Thanks YesCop,

I've just re-released the book and tutorials in Kindle and paperback formats, so if you prefer those formats then you can get them via the following links:
Click here for the Kindle version
Click here for the print version

I'd also like to ask a favour from anyone who buys it or has read it already: please leave a review on Amazon. It really helps sales of the books. You can click the links above, go to the listing for each book, and click on the "Write a customer review" button (it's down where the customer reviews section is).
